Blue Water Rest Home B & C Pilot Project

The redesigned Blue Water Rest Home includes a new main kitchen, preparing meals for twinned dining rooms and serveries located between a new 32-bed and a renovated 33 bed RHA. A new designated entry, accessed from the existing mail lobby, provides the long-term care home with a unique identity within the overall building. Existing spaces, left vacant when the residents relocated, were renovated for assisted living units and a child daycare facility. A central courtyard provides pleasant outdoor space protected from the persistent shore winds that envelope the site.
